Hot take: As an LA’er - Joshua Tree + Ojai are not for me - the desert makes my ocean soul claustrophobic🧜♀️. I haven’t felt actual relief from the city until I found Idyllwild.
This homie mountain town is like being in Colorado but 2.5 hours from LA. Friendly locals, great hikes, charming shops.
